## How It Works Now

### Email + WhatsApp Both Sent
When a notification is triggered:
1. **Email** sent to user with detailed, formatted template
2. **WhatsApp** sent to user with shorter, emoji-friendly template
3. **Admin copy** sent via email for ALL important notifications

### Template Variables
Each template uses variables like `{client_name}`, `{booking_date}`, etc.
The system automatically replaces these with actual data.

### Trigger Events
Notifications are sent automatically when events occur:
- `booking.created` → Booking confirmations sent
- `booking.reminder.1hour` → Reminder sent 1 hour before
- `booking.followup.2hours` → Review request sent 2 hours after
- `account.deletion.requested` → User + Admin notified
- And more...

### Admin Email
Set in `.env` file:

### 1. Test WhatsApp Messages
1. Go to Settings → WhatsApp Settings
2. Click "Send Test WhatsApp"
3. Enter your phone number (must have joined sandbox)
4. Verify you receive the message

### 2. Test Booking Notifications
1. Create a test booking
2. Check client receives email + WhatsApp
3. Check professional receives email + WhatsApp
4. Check admin receives email copy

### 3. Test Account Deletion
1. User requests account deletion
2. Check admin receives email + WhatsApp notification
3. Admin approves/denies from deletion requests page
4. Check user receives email + WhatsApp notification

## Managing Templates

### View Templates
Go to Settings → WhatsApp Settings to see all WhatsApp templates
Go to Settings → Notification Settings to see all email templates

### Edit Templates
Each template card has an "Edit" button
You can modify the content and variables

- `{client_name}` - Customer's name
- `{service_name}` - Service booked
- `{booking_date}` - Booking date

## Important Notes

### WhatsApp Sandbox Limitations
For testing, recipients must:
1. Join your WhatsApp sandbox first
2. Send the join code to your sandbox number

For production, apply for WhatsApp Business sender number.

### Email vs WhatsApp Templates
- **Email**: Longer, detailed, HTML formatting
- **WhatsApp**: Shorter, concise, emoji-friendly, plain text

### Admin Always Notified
All important notifications send a copy to admin email automatically.

### No More Trial System
All trial-related templates have been removed as per your requirements.
